Nothing is going to sit you down faster than the first day of your lunar cycle.

And b*tch when you ain’t got no brain and you ambitious and you trying to do everything, priority is key.

Welcome to the day six of my YouTube content challenge where I am busting out content, doing 333 posts in 33 days so I can boost, revise, find my baddies so that you can create a cohesive, magnetic brand.

We’re merging your light, your dark together so your dream people can follow you.

So this is now day six and we’re good.
We’re maintaining. We have kept our streak going very very well.

and in the midst of that just being a woman who has a lunar cycle, menstrual cycle. yeah, day one hit and um I ain’t got no brain today and especially the day when I was trying to catch up and get ahead and like batching.

I’ve been batching like a mug because we’re being proactive. 

I’m now starting to feel guilt. I’m now still feeling a little insecurity.
I’m now starting to feel a little bit off my rocker. Why? Because I am such an ambitious person.

I’m an eldest daughter.
I’m a former teacher.
I’ve been taking care of people and doing things for years.

And so to have this vision that I have for my business, like, yo, I’m doing my 10K months, my 20k months, my 50k.

I have it laid out. I have my plans.

I have my strategies and really building it together.
And I just don’t like resting.

Let’s just keep it a motherf*cking buck.

I hate when I have to like slow down.
And because I am so hard-headed, sometimes my body literally forces me to sit down.

And as someone who is neurospicy, chronically ill with Crohn’s, baby, when the body sits me down, she really sits me down.

And as I’m getting older, too, was like, yo, you really need to be paying attention and monitoring this because what used to take like 24 hours recovery, 48 hours recovery, 72 hours recovery.

If I hit a 96, I’m going to an island where I can drink coconut water all day, get f*cked and take care of my kids cuz when when we get to a 4-day recovery type thing.

Anyway, so today’s lesson has been about prioritization.

What truly is important that needs to happen today?
What can be left to tomorrow?
And what’s something that I’ve been low-key obsessing over that really does not matter?

So like today I wanted to make sure I batch some other content to make sure pushing out my new resource that I just dropped my ramen playbook so you can know how to write that content that gets comments. My signature framework available for you.

I also wanted to make sure that I organize the different topics and get some graphics going down.

Make sure I’m playing around in Canva doing my thing because I’m a graphic designer by trade.
15 years been in the game.

If there’s one thing I know, I know some pixels.
I know some fonts.
I know some color theories and how to bring it together to create a cohesive look. I know how to curate a look.

Look at my sh*t. I can help you with your sh*t.

So, I was planning on doing batching and doing those things, doing some catch up on things.

And all along the while as I’m doing these different projects, naturally as you’re doing things, new sh*t comes up.

Like when you’re learning something new, new sh*t comes up.

So, I’m like working in WordPress.
I’m trying to do this.
I’m trying to do that.
And all the while my body is like,

“You need to go take a nap. You need to go sit down.
You need to take care of the zit.

Where did this come from?”

See, all all types of stuff it be coming up.

And so my body is literally telling me to like rest in my own insecurities, my own feels like,

“No, no, no. We need to go go. We need to earn our rest. We need to go ahead and do something before we do it.”

Because I just know the amount of time that it takes to just get back to center is like,

“What? What is this? What is that? what is happening.

So finding that peace in it, really understanding and letting go.

It’s like, okay, if I don’t bash today, it’s fine.

I can get one thing up.
I can get two things up.
I can do something to make sure it’s done and not perfect.

And that has been the overall lesson and definitely just the vibe of today. I am grateful and thankful that I did batch a whole bunch of content, like whole bunch of threads, a whole bunch of stuff to make sure it’s covered so it can be consistent when I need to do the things that help my body do what it needs to do.

That is I just love that about like my business that I’m booming. It really is in alignment of what I need to do that for that.

So, let’s see what day seven is about to be.
